Leadership
Founder & Managing Principal
Greenbrier Group draws on Eric's decades of experience building, scaling, advising, investing in, and exiting middle-market technology and services businesses.
Eric began his technology career as founder and Co-CEO of Greenbrier & Russel, Inc., an IT services company that grew to more than 700 employees and over $70 million in revenue before being sold to Fujitsu in 2006. Since then, he has served as an investor, advisor, board member, and executive coach to companies in technology services, digital marketing, business services, and strategy consulting.
Eric has also served as an independent director for private equity-backed companies, working alongside ownership and management teams to drive growth, strengthen operations, and create measurable value for shareholders.
Eric's work is shaped by his long-standing commitment to entrepreneurship, education, and leadership development. He has served as an instructor in Applied Entrepreneurship at Northern Illinois University's College of Business, as a member and chair of the NIU Board of Trustees, and as a mentor to emerging entrepreneurs through business incubator programs.
